I used to do this all the time when we would go on vacation. I would set up my plants with a string coming out of the soil from the bottom of the pot and have the string long enough to be submerged into a container of water that would be enough water to last while we were gone. The plant drinks itself using this method. This is called a watering wick system.
Since then though I have bought those pretty glass balls that you add water to and submerge the pointy end of it in dirt. https://www.amazon.com/Trenton-Gifts-Multi-Colored-Watering-Measures/dp/B07MH67F17/ref=asc_df_B07MH67F17/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309807711822&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16466628823390353124&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007919&hvtargid=pla-623079226982&psc=1
The plant drinks what it needs as well. You can also make an actual pot that is self watering, check out this you tube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qlKw70-1XQ. Good luck!
Fill tall bottle with water and turn upside down inserted in the dirt
My Grandma used to set her potted plants in a small tub (like they used to use for washing/rinsing dishes) and fill the tub with water. The plant would draw up water as needed by the roots. Sometimes trustworthy neighbors will water for you and keep your mail etc. Sometimes I have used a trickle hose to water plants while I was away.
We have used a timer on a hose to come on once a day....set the hose to a trickle and that should take care of the watering. But better, do you have a neighbor that will water your outdoor plants?
