Mine are in pots outside year round, but I am Zone 9 in Southern California. They live in dappled sunlight during the summer months and I move them to a sunny location for the rest of the year. Still in th 90's here.
They are best in an area that gets partial sunlight. That said, I have one in the yard in a pot that gets full sun. Make sure it gets little water and lots of drainage.
very easy keeper, being in a cold winter climate, an occasional watering, to much water and the roots wilt.
