How can I clean my sectional couch which is hard to take apart?
I have a large sectional I would like to clean. Other than vacuuming, how can I clean the cushions? The cushion covers are "removable", but it's crazy hard to get them back on all the memory foam and all that jazz!

My sofa has cushion covers too. I still make the effort every few months to remove and launder. If it is difficult for you, get some help from family members!
An easier way to get the cushion covers back on after washing is to let them dry 75% before putting on so there's a little room to stretch the fabric...then stand the cushions upright on the sofa until they dry the rest of the way. They will mold to the cushions when doing it this way, too!
Hi Aeriel, I agree, having to remove cushion covers is more work and shouldn't have to be done as often as you want to clean them. I use a handheld Bissell cleaner for spot cleaning on upholstery. Put a carpet cleaner formula in the machine and spray with the nozzle. Lightly scrub and suck up all the liquid. You will want to do the entire cushion even if there is only one small stain. A lot of times you will get water marks in the spot that you cleaned, but if you dampen the whole top of the cushion, it is an even clean and you won't get that. It does wonders to remove stains and you can also use this method on carpets. I have also tried a powder Resolve for removing stains on upholstery and have gotten great results as well. Good luck!
Hi Aeriel, have washed the cushion covers before, but you do NOT want to dry them, put them back on while still wet.
