you can get pre made cages at a pet store, having raised rabbits for 10 yrs, its more sturdy, than most home made. you would have to bend the hardware cloth to make the corners etc. rabbits will chew on wood, and if raising the babies-the mom rabbit needs a brood box with straw etc for the births. then there is the pee and poop issue- police the gages regularly to keep all clean.
