have been looking at a number of posts on making a multiple light hanging fixture and have not found how to join the wires. Can anyone help..I know how to do two wires but not like 15 different lights to one access point.

You would connect the wires in parallel so if one goes out the others stay on. For example, all white wires connect together and all black wires connect together. Then to the power source and switch. Simple photo shows how. Yellow dots are wire nuts.

thank you...this is just what I needed to know...already checked with electrician on right wires, lights and so many other things hated to bother him again with something that I knew was simple but was avoiding my brain...thanks

This is likely the answer you don't want to hear. With 15 lights on 1 access point, you'll better be off hiring an electrician because there are so many different factors (amps, breakers, etc) that need to be considered.

You need to look at you tube for tutorials on wiring light figures together. You use wire nuts and join in the light box of the fixture and in ceiling junction box.
  • This really isn’t something you want to mess with as bad wiring can burn your house down and DIY wiring will void your insurance. Best reach out to an electrician.
