That's not how tile is to be installed. Period. Go take a class at Home Depot for free or watch a bunch of You Tube videos. These will get you started!

You need the correct tile adhesive for this job, liquid makes many kinds of adhesives-it is a brand name. Select the proper liquid nails for the project you have, take a look at this link:

The appropriate tile adhesive should be used. Liquid nails to be too thick and would likely have a lumpy uneven application of success of tiles.
Tile adhesive would be so much easier.
