Simply not a good idea there are reasonable price electric heaters that look like a wood stove I have one and I use to take the chill out the house first thing in the morning. If you are adamant in going forth with project, you must install a carbon monoxide detector, also make sure you have a good home insurance policy and if you have pets be extra careful. My thoughts simply not a good safe idea
