Hi I used a lavender oil and I let Clorox soak in my sink overnight for a week and cleaned it every morning. After the clean I wiped the oil around the sink and haven’t had an issue since. Not one.
Usually a mix of soap and hot water should do the trick. They could be in your drain since they like damp spots. Pour down some baking soda and then top it off with vinegar until you hear it fizz and then let it sit for a while and then rinse with hot water. This will solve that problem and also clean out your drainage pipes st thr same time and make your drainage run faster.
We put one of these by each sink and our pet food bowls.
first, use a vaccum without sucking up water, then, consider using
' full strength ' liquid bleach. half cup into sink oveflow opening,
if any - and half cup into drain. flush with cold water after a few minutes.
Those aren’t gnats, they’re “drain flies” and you really need to treat all the drains in your home to make sure they’re really and truly gone. Start in the kitchen, though, and if you don’t have regular pest control service (they have a special gel) then you can place baking soda in your drains, pour vinegar to get the foaming action, followed by a thorough rinse with boiling water. Do this in all your drains. This not only rids you of your pests it also clears nasty grease as well...
