How do I paint mobile home bedroom doors that have deep groves?
How to paint mobile home bedroom doors, the wood doors has deep groves in them and I'm trying to paint them to have a solid look. I've sanded, primed and painted them white and the groves still show and the white paint looks dual. I tried to upload a picture, but for some reason it's not working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you want the grooves to go away you will have to fill the grooves with spackle. Smooth it as you go so that you have the least amount of sanding possible. Then prime and paint. If the white looks dull, you probably need to repaint with a higher sheen finish.
Just keep in mind that if you choose to paint using a glossy finish the glossier the more every imperfection will stand out. You should prime first before applying any paint.
Try filling with Durham's. Then smooth sand. Prime with Kilz Original. Paint with desired finish.
Prime the grooves then paint them. It sounds like something might be bleeding through the paint.
