Hi Sharon, here are some tips for decorating your blue living room. Blue Living Room Ideas - The Spruce
Oct 28, 2018 - Paint isn't the only way to infuse walls with a hit of blue. In this New Traditional room, a blue grasscloth wall covering was used to wrap the room in color. Dramatic table lamps and hits of orange enhance the color and make for a dynamic space.
Hi Sharon. Do you have trim? I love white trim with blue. It looks so crisp and clean. Whatever you choose for an accent color, bring that color in with pillows, art, and rugs. I like butter yellow as an accent for blue.
It will depend on your theme, style, and accent colors.
My first thought is creme and farmhouse style but you can add bold colors for boho or boho-chic.
An easy accent I done in my living room which is one blu, one blue with a grey clouds done with an old t shirt on a roller, and one light grey wall. I needed new drapes on both windows. I used bluish grey thermal and bought the approx 8" to long. Trimmed and re hemmed the curtains. Found some photos online and took my flash drive to staples and made them into 8x17 photos. Frame of choice and borders the photos with the xtra curtain material. Blends so well. Many compliments. Good luck!
