I have a small patio and think about painting my fence on the inside so I can put some colorful decor up. Is this a good idea?

Wreath is my #1 inexpensive Christmas decor. The Dollar Tree has metal forms in various shapes (round, stocking, candy cane). Add mesh ribbon to that for decor.
You can cut plywood and paint with exterior paint. I like "ornaments" , "gift boxes", and "stockings".
