How do I remove furniture dents from carpet?
Recently moved a heavy dresser which left indents on the carpet beneath. Any suggestions on how to remove the indents would be appreciated. Thanks

Tess... I just did this and could not believe it worked!
Put an ice cube on the dent. Let it melt. Then take a soup spoon and scrape at the carpet nap.

Sometimes the carpet AND the pad are dented from furniture sitting on them. I have used the ice cube thing and as it is melting, taken a fork and sort of lifted the knap. You will need to get the spot wet enough so it makes the rug pad come up also. Does work.
Thank you all for your suggestions. The towel and iron worked the best.
