I use a paint brush or a large blush brush, something with soft bristles to get the dust off and not harm the leaves. They make a product called Pixie Sparkle that you can spray on your plant to make them shiny.
Carmen....I just wipe mine with damp rag. I don't like the oil look and dust sticks and makes worse

It depends on the plant, but I give the ones I have an occasional shower. I put them in the bathtub, shower them, let them drip, then remove and wipe the leaves so that they shine. Wishing you the best.
