Use front face mirror glass...that is to say the silver of the mirror is on the surface of the glass. You can buy it. It is expensive. Or, you can use paint remover to take off the gray paint which is on the back of most mirrors and you now have front face mirror. You can now make a kaleidoscope of any size you want. It was invented by Scottish mathematician Sir David Brewster in the early 1800’s...he also wrote a terrific book titled Natural Magic which is worth reading....an original is tough to find but there are modern reprints available.
