How can I hang a shelf without using drywall anchors?
Don't have any drywall anchors need to hang a 3 1\2 ft shelf. I had seen it somewhere once before however I can't find anything now

Hi Moe. I'm Cindy. If you put your shelf up without anchors, it will come down if anything heavy is put on it. You can however use the studs inside your wall to hold the weight on your shelf. You should probably use 1 inch and a half, or 1 inch and a quarter, wood screws to secure the shelf.
Get the screws in the studs
All you can do is find the studs and screw into them or it will fall down.
Another vote for screwing the shelf into studs. Use a stud finder to make sure you hit a stud.
