I just moved into a new rental and the cabinets are pretty on the outside but they are very dirty on the inside. How do I clean them??

'can you clean them with a spray cleaner like Cloryx spray? Or hot water and dawn dish soap? When dry and clean, give them another coat of paint because it looks like they have been painted before. May need a toothbrush on the hinges.
Spray Nine is amazing for cleaning anything greasy or sticky. You can buy a gallon and mix it yourself (much cheaper than buying the spray form.) Available at Home Depot or online.
Start with warm soapy water and microfiber cloth. It appears you also might need to scrape extra paint. Add contact paper once you are sure they are clean. You can use the kind that isn't adhesive of don't remove the paper backing on adhesive paper.
HI! I would clean them with a little TSP and then rinse with water. Also Would cover with some cute contact paper! :)
Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner or Krud Kutter.
I agree Krud Kutter. Make sure you dry the cabinets out thoroughly so you don't get any water damage. And, as this is a rental, take pics of the condition as you've moved in and before you do any work. If you want to paint or cover w/ contact paper, I'd ask the landlord that if you do the work, he'll pay for your materials. I've never had a landlord say no! 😎
Sometimes I just pull the drawers right out and tip on side and clean in the sink/tub. Try some baking soda and use just like comet cleaner. Don’t soak. Just scrub and use sprayer to rinse. Then I’d just head to the dollar store and get some self or drawer liner in white. Not the sticky stuff. This is more of a thin foam white. You could paint but I wouldn’t waste my money on a rental unless they reimburse you for your supplies. They might if you do the labor? However you won’t be using them for awhile while they dry and cure.
Hi ! Try Krud Kutter de greaser !!! Works great ! Good luck !!!
A good cleaner and scraper will do you wonders. If you still aren't happy with them, you could line the inside with removable contact paper and/or liners.
Heavy Duty Mr. Clean Magic Eraser followed by wipe down with Windex.
SOS pads and a little water. It will take some of the paint off, but it needs to go. Then I would repaint. White enamel would look good and last. Use a foam brush because you can't clean enamel from a brush. You can get paint and foam brush at Walmart or Menards cheap.
