I have some nice wine glasses, heavy leaded plates glass, different sizes of glass cooking bowls. Just a safe, inexpensive way.

Any home improvement center has a plethora of brackets available along with a number of pre cut shelving that you can either paint or stain to coordinate with your decor. Since glassware and crystal can be very heavy, I suggest screwing shelf brackets into the studs. If you live in earthquake country, I suggest you rethink the idea. If not go for it! Just know you will be dusting them or washing often to keep pretty and clean.
Secure L brackets into the studs and affix shelving board to the brackets.

this is what I have done in my small kitchen. I made these racks myself and believe me I am no carpenter. We have used these at least 30 years.
