Hi Terri. I have used paint to match a carpet colour before. If you find a paint that is similar (one without latex is good - Annie Sloan, Milk Paint), we the spot and then water down the paint. Use some of the watered down paint on the carpet fibres with a little brush and repeat if necessary. Hope that helps!

I had this problem years ago from a mildew cleaner I used on the wall in an old house we rented. The carpet was blue with a big bleach spot in the corner. I went to the store and got Rit dye and mixed some in a bowl. I used an old rag and dabbed the area with it layering the dye until I got a nice blend. You would never know it wasn't original.

Not all types of carpet fiber can be dyed. Only wool or nylon fibers are dyeable. ... Plan ahead and do not work yourself into a corner; the dye will coat your feet, shoes and socks. You cannot dye a carpet to a lighter color.

Hello, Try to use something like Sharpies if it i not a large area. Maybe match the colour or draw a design on the carpet and colour it in with the pens. If it is a large carpet and you have contents insurance - claim!
