How can I get spoons clean in the dishwasher?
My dishwasher leaves thin white lines on the bowls of my teaspoons. I use Jet-Dry for every load and I have a whole house water softener. What is the white stuff and how do I get rid of it? Thanks.clhr

Are you on a well for your water source? We are and I have the same thing. For us it is calcium that doesn't get caught by the filters. I still haven't figure out how to get rid of them
Our dishwasher was doing the same thing and we were trying everything too. Then we found a Walmart brand product that DOES work. The white is from minerals in the water. That solved it for us and we use a good brand name dishpowder too.
Did you tru a different detergent? For some reason my washer prefers Cascade.
Yes Annie, we have a well, but we have a water softener. Lucky Home today, I have always used Cascade powder as that was what came with the dishwasher. These white "rings" only started showing up about 6 months ago.
DesertRose, what is the Walmart product? A dishwasher cleaner?
