I am unclear as to what to do with this part of my house, "The Breakfast Nook".

If it is powered by electricity, then turn it off.
It depends on the type but for the "Ring" brand, many run off batteries.
Most doorbells are 12 Volts. If the Ring takes 120 Volts and does not have a plug 🔌 ,
then you’ll need to run a new line and I would hire an electrician.
That's probably the wisest thing to do as getting shocked hurts.
The manufacturers site has lots of tutorials and step by step instructions.
