How can I get rid of odors in my bathroom sink?
what trick do you have to keep a bathroom drain smelling good? It’s only 2 months old. When I run the water I smell a little odor. Don’t understand why. Thank you so much!

Cherie....I understand some people put baking soda down drain and lots of businesses use bleach
This occasionally happens in my kitchen sink. I pour a little vinegar down the drain and it usually does the trick.
Here is some info that might help! Looks like baking soda, then vinegar and then boiling water. https://www.hunker.com/13420569/how-to-get-rid-of-a-smelly-bathroom-sink-drain
Sounds like the sink was put in wrong there should be a elbow so the smell doesn’t back up
I use baking soda and vinegar to keep my drains clean and fresh. We also bought a sink snake from our local hardware store that we use to ensure there is nothing in the drain that may cause an odor.
Agree with KMdreamer, the P-trap below the sink has some water in it to prevent sewer gases from coming up into the house.
Baking soda and white vinegar, cover for 30 minutes then pour boiling water. It should remove anything caught in the p trap causing odors.
The trap should keep any sewer gasses from being detected. Are you on well water? My in-laws had and artesian well and would get a sulfur smell from theirs a few times a year.
