I use the cheap vases that florists use for delivery orders. I have one under each bathroom and the kitchen sinks.
Remive cap, cut bottom off, clean, then invert. You can paint or cover with contact paper for appearances.
You could also try using either regular or small size facial tissue boxes.
It's easy to get the bags in and out through the built in slit for dispensing. You could leave them as is or cover with decorative paper or foil .
Try a plastic gallon milk jug instead. It already has a handle. Holds SO many more bags. Most have a circle indentation in them already. If not use a sharp pair of scissors to cut a circle about 3 inches in diameter in one side. You can fit about 50 bags inside. Always push the bags in from the bottom first, this pushes the air out of them. I keep one under each sink to empty trash and one in the garage. Every time you think it is full you will find you can fit a few more inside.
Cut the bottom off the bottle then mount it upside down. Bags go in the top (cut off bottom) and come out the neck.
