Hi Sonia, place the pot in a sink of very hot water to which you've added a dryer cloth or two. Let soak well and then scrub the pot well with a scrubby. The dryer sheets will help to loosen the burnt-on food.
Hi Sonia,
Many people recommend baking soda and/or vinegar, but they can discolor aluminum. The best household ingredient to use is salt with hot water. Let it soak for a few hours then bring it all to a boil and simmer for a few mins, then dump out the water and wash as normal. Wishing you the best.
I find soaking with dawn and scraping with depleted gift card or old credit card very effective.
I use Bar Keeper Soft Scrub.
I would bring vwhite negar to a boil and let it simmer awhile. As it simmers use a spatula to work at the burned on food. dawn is good too.
I fill with water immediately. Then when cooled, scrape all you can with a scraper (I buy mine in the kitchen utensil aisle at Walmart). Then soak again with hot soapy water. A. Brillo or SOS pad should remove the rest. If it's a non- stick finish, use a scrubby.
If it’s a non-stick finish and it shows signs of burning too- like bubbling, flaking, discolored; it’s time to replace the pan.
Teflon-type surfaces are not healthy to ingest.
Sonia....I would also use a wire brush
Hi Sonia, hope this helps you
Take some baking soda and mix it with a few drops of dish wash soap or cleaner. After you are done mixing them pour the mixture in pan. Then add some water to it and let the pan soak really well. Take the pan and heat it up for about 5-10 minutes
Heat up some water in the pot and add cream of tarter . Let sit and clean with a scrubbie.
