First can I ask why you want to cover it and what you want to cover it with, if you have a preference? You could cover it with different ceramic tiles or Mosaics, or anything that can be cemented in place and grouted, or you could Stick down a timber top or Laminate or Replace the top.........Or you could use tile covers tc.
