How do I clean a vinyl purse handle that is “sticky”?
I have a brand new purse that I received as a gift. The two handles were in a plastic sleeve. When I unwrapped them to use the purse, I found that they are very sticky. The plastic was not stuck to the handles and was easily removed. What can I clean the purse handles with to remove the stickiness? Thank you for any ideas.

Do a little bit of Goo Gone. Test in a small area first to make sure its doesn’t pull the color out of the plastic handles.
I would try goo B gone first, its pretty gentle so it should be OK to use on your purse.
you could use a tiny amount of Dawn blue detergent with some warm water and wipe away the sticky residue
Hi Charlotte, hope this helps you
Remove tape residue from vinyl with white vinegar.
I would try wiping a tiny amount of baby oil, followed by using Windex on a soft t-shirt.
You can buy an adhesive remover from most budget stores.
Goo Gone, WD40 or nail polish remover.
WD40 gets adhesive residue off with great results. That's what car dealers use to remove price stickers.
Try baby oil :)
