How can I build a large planter that has bricks on each corner?
Last summer there was post on how to build a planter or raised flower bed. Built with what looked like 2 x 8’s but the corners were held together with bricks. It was the way they were stacked that held them. I was saving it but then my iPad went down and I lost it. We recently moved to a new house and would really love to have that planter by our patio. If anyone remembers the post I’m talking about and can steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hi Martha, is it perhaps this one you're thinking of? https://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/garden/raised-beds-with-almost-no-nails-11995995
Raised Beds With (almost) No Nails
Why use bricks only in the Corners? It doesn't cost much to make a Full Fledged Brick Planter, with some mortar, say you wanted an Octagon that as it ascends higher uses I less Brick per row.
You got a Few Rows with 8 Bricks, to hold in the Soil, and then you got 7, 6, 5, 4. So really you are only using around 38 bricks with 20lbs Mortar to make Each of the Full Fledged Brick Designs.
