How can I restore a yellowed Fiberglass shower, caused by hard water?
I have very hard water. I have tried a variety of cleaning products in my shower stall that has taken on a yellowish tone. What will take the yellow staining from hard water off the shower walls?

We also have quite hard water, I find that a Magic Eraser works. If the staining is really bad, we spray cleaner on and leave it for an hour then clean with the ME.
Or try lemon juice that is pretty strong. here is a link

Hi Donna,
Have you tried CLR, calcium, lime, rust. That might solve your problem. Available at diy stores.

The shower in my spare bathroom was in bad shape. It is my hubby's bathroom and he doesn't believe in cleaning it. Think he knows if he waits long enough I will give in and clean it for him.
But what I did to clean my fiberglass shower was get a can of Easy Off oven cleaner in the blue can. Spray it on, turn your exhaust fan one, close the door and leave for about half an hour. Came back and I use a broom I got at the dollar store just for cleaning tubs, spider webs, etc. and scrub down lightly and rinse.
We had very hard water at our last house. My shower doors were always cloudy. I tried a bunch of cleaners. They worked so-so. Then I tried CLR. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Come back in a half hour and wipe with a damp cloth. It had my shower doors crystal clear.
Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Sprasy it on and let it liquefy. Works on enamel, porcelain, and fiberglass.
