Thanks for the wonderfully easy way to clean my whirlpool tub!
I use Lysol Scum remover in the blue trigger spray bottle for the surface (marble). I'm careful to run clean water through the jets after using. I've had mine since 1987 and never had any issues. When I purchased it, they told me I could put a 1/2 gallon of bleach in a tub of water (mine is 6' x 4') and run it to clean the jets but I've never done that. I haven't had any issues with green or black gunk either.
Vinegar and water- rerun several times. I also use bleach.
Awesome tips! Thanks so much!
I keep a dish scrubber in a tall cup on the side of the bathtub. The scrubber holds a mixture of dish soap and vinegar. After anyone uses the bathtub I scrub the soap scum off with the dish scrubber and rinse. I never have rings with this method. Keep one of these next to the bathtub:

Also, when I do a deep clean I scrub the inside of the jets and the rings around the jets with a toothbrush. For deep clean scrubbing I will use soap scrub. Fill the tub up with water and a some bleach and run the jets.
