i would rip it out and put in an open shower
You can paint the tile with Rustoleum Tub and Tile Paint Kit or remove the tile, patch the walls, and replace the tiles. Removing the step would require some demo. A hammer, chisel, prybar to remove the tile and the base. Wear gloves and eye protection. First break up the tile with a hammer and chisel, then remove the base with a prybar and hammer. Clean up as you go along. Hopefully the step was installed after the flooring and on top of the flooring. Good luck. Please post you project here.
remove the step and lip in front of the bath build a new wall leave recess 20cm for the new tile to fit it will look more or less like attached photo.
Awesome idea! Thanks
That's great! It's on top of the flooring and against the tub. TEAR IT OUT!
Here a tight buget make over. Add bead board trim and paint the walls add accent pieces, towels and rug and candles here's sum pictures to help with the visual 😌
This is what i did to mine, the "tiles" are by roomates,,, peel and stick. my handyman did the floor tiling, its vinyl. The whole bathroom looked shades of yellow when i bought my home.
I would take the step out and reface like Barb suggested.
Use stick on tiles( they come in mny colours and styles)
Take it out and replace with a simple free standing tub. That would remove the tile stairs also.
Hi Cindy, you can paint the tiles to freshen them up, use a kit designed for this purpose, hope this video helps you out,

You could clean the grout and renew it, Re-tile or cover tiles with Tile Stickers. remove the Step! You could do as much or as little as you want too.
