Hi Tina, Here's a video that will show yo the steps. Just know, a solid color fabric with no design will be much easier to work with than a patterned one in case you have to seam two pieces of fabric together for a large tablecloth. Hope this helps you!

I have made scads of round tablecloths for the patio table. Easy to make. I prefer a patterned fabric that does not require matching a pattern like a stripe, plaid or check fabric would. It also hides the seams if you need them, that you would see on a solid color fabric. Purely a personal preference. Once the tablecloth is complete, ironed and on the table, you would never know it was pieced together if large. I have reds for Valentine's Day, as well as patriotic holidays, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, etc, for every season or holiday. In addition, a patterned fabric also will camouflage and drips or spills which are bound to happen. And if, it gets lightly stained by something that is hard to get out, easier to hide with a table runner or placemats. And . . . Always wash and iron your fabric first to account for any shrinkage.
