How do I hang a frame on a wall that has tile on the bottom half?
Can someone tell me how to drill through tile if I can?

You could raise the back of the wall up a little use a long nail and put a cork under it cut in half to hold it even
Hi Marilyn. I'm Cindy. You could hang your frame using a Command Strip. They are sold according to how much weight they will be used for. You can purchase Command Strips in home improvement stores, fabric stores, Wal Mart and Amazon.
I agree that you should try using Command Strips! I hang everything in my house with Command Strips!
I would try a command hook!
Yep command hooks work great unless you're willing to drill through your tile and put in anchors to keep it in place.
You could support the frame at the top only and maybe Velcro pads at the tile area. Or use a drill bit designed to drill into tile to add plastic anchors. Put masking tape at the location you are planning to drill into and remove it after drilling. That will help prevent chipping.
Command hooks will for sure help!
You’re saying half of the frame is on drywall and the other half is hanging over tile?
If not and you want to drill through the tile, then masonry drill bits are cheap and then it’s a matter of how heavy is the frame?
No matter where we hang frames, if the screw or nail is not going into a stud, then we have to use a “molly”.
Did you get your answer?
Seems the top portion of the frame needs to be out further from the wall so it hangs straight down over the tile area and not at a slant. Simply using a longer nail, screw, or whatever you hang the frame from should work fine. It may not look very nice from either side (if it is seen).
Hi Marilyn, can you measure how much of a difference there is with the tile? you could likely add little rubber bumpers on the top part of the frame so it sits straight. I have attached a pitcture of the bumpers, you can get at any store including walmart, or home depot.
I would use command hooks, then you don't need to worry about damaging the wall/tiles.
