How do I fix 2 holes in my wood floor?
Removed my fireplace and it left 2 holes on the floor. My remodeler just plug the holes with different woods, and it's horrible. Please help!

Sand the plugs smooth with 220 grit sand paper. Use Minwax stain markers to color the plugs. They come in all wood tones. Do not use them like regular markers. I like to dab the markers and use a finger to blend the colors creating light and dark areas. If it doesn't look good you can wipe with a cloth.
Call your the person who did the work and tell them what they did isn't acceptable and it needs to be fixed.
