Hi Diane, buy as many supplies as you can from dollars stores or online, from there you just need to think of an idea you want to do, you can check toys stores for inexpensive items. There are a lot of items on Ebay and wish.com that go for way cheaper.

We like to get inexpensive unfinished wood birdhouses at Joann Fabrics- I think they're like $1 each for the fairies to live in. We've added doors to a couple, and my girls painted them.
Hello Diane, Look out for small childrens toys you could use in the Dollar store or markets. This will give you the idea of size you will need to make your garden. Use anything that comes to hand that is the right size. All drainage to the base, soil and rocks and ornaments as features. Make a landscape only smaller, for the little people......... Have fun.
