It is better to just use a bar of soap and wash your hands well, rinse well, and dry with a paper towel that can be thrown away or a towel that you plan to wash frequently--very frequently in the coming months. You can use antibacterial dish soap if you feel that you need an antibacterial soap but in reality ANY soap will work to wash germs off your hands-both bacterial and viral- as long as you are washing long enough and frequently especially if you have been to a public place. Anibacterial soap really is no better protection than any other kind of soap. It is better to NOT use antibacterial soap because common bacteria we already encounter on a daily basis is becoming resistant to antibiotics. Some people think that hand sanitizer is a good replacement for washing your hands with soap--NOT SO! It is a temporary way to "sort of" clean your hands until you can get to soap and water.
GK is correct. Good old soap and water -- scrub completely and vigorously for 20 seconds --- should do the trick
For washing your hands, soap and warm water, get under your rings or remove them and wash them separately. It is best to not use any antibacterial soap, that destroys the normal flora on your skin you need for protection against germs. You can use bar soap or a liquid soap. Lather up and scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Dry thoroughly.

The CDC recommends washing your hands first, and also alcohol in hand sanitizer, however it's not always appropriate for some folks. This one is made without alcohol if that is an option for you. It's super easy and takes approximately 30 seconds to make. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
