Pour the Bar Keepers friend in a small cup. Add water about a teaspoon each attempt until you reach the desired consistency. You can make a bleach/baking soda paste basically the same way. Remember if you are using this on a flat surface you can make the paste thinner then if you needed it to stick to the side of a sink.

Just mix water and bbf with water into a paste of desired consistency.
Sprinkle it on the surface you want to clean and spritz it with water.
