I use limeaway to remove rust. If it is real bad it may not come off.
Hi! Anything acidic works well, as does WD40. I keep a can of coke for clean-up, and I have also used vinegar. A wire brush will help you clean it up, too. The rust will go flying if you use a wire brush or sander, so wear protective equipment, especially goggles or safety glasses. Whatever you have to use, let it work overnight if possible or at least a couple of hours to get your best help with the rust. Good luck and stay safe!
Hello. Commercial products like CLR work well. Where is your rust? Sometimes product recommendations may be geared to what you’re removing the rust from and degree of deterioration. Posting a photo might help.
It might depend on what material you’re trying to remove rust from. Make sure you read the label on whatever you pick to make sure it’s appropriate.
On what? Metal or a different surface? If metal use WD40 and steel wool.
Rustoleum makes a good rust remover. Or use Navel Jelly
I do know personally that if its something that can fit in a container...

WD40 the oil in a spray can, I find this really good, leave it on for 30 mins -1 hour and gently rub with steal wool or toothbrush, hope it helps.

You can soak in vinegar and then steel wool:). Spray with a rustoleum rust preventative spray

Rust stains were on the treated front walkway and the CLR did the trick.
If it's a small bit of rust, I like to use wire brushes on a dremel to remove the rust.
