Hi Julie. I painted a glass patio table and the legs a few years ago. The Legs have held up well, but the glass did not. In fact it started chipping off almost immediately. It might be because it was outside. I hope you get an answer on how to paint the glass because I would like to know that too.
Paint it from the underneath so it doesn't get scratched.

I would paint the underneath of the glass and use paint that is made specifically for glass. Be sure to clean and prep the glass well for the best adhesion.
I would advise to paint on the under side of the table since it will be subject to a lot of wear & tear.
Hi Julie, you can use any type of decoupage glue (mod podge) and mix it with acrylic paints. I would paint the underside of the table rather than the top so it's more protected.
You can paint it from below using unicorn spit stain and glaze and seal it with polyurethane or epoxy resin.
