Listerine mouthwash is gentle antiseptic for use on the inside of the mouth, designed to target only the germs that cause bad breath, and plaque.
It is not a disinfectant.
Naomie is right; it does not kill the COVID 19 virus.

Listerine is a disinfectant so it can be used to substitute alcohol. It tends to be a bit sticky so keep that in mind. I would use hydrogen peroxide for a disinfectant.
No, Listerine is not a disinfectant. It is an antiseptic. They are not the same.
