Hw can I paint my bathroom vanity that has doors made of plastic?
I want to paint the vanity in my bathroom. My house was built in the seventies and this is the original one. The vanity is made of some type of wood product but the cabinet doors are a plastic type of material and is very discolored. What type of paint will stick to this and not peel off? Thanks for any suggestions.

Frenchic Alfresco. Fantastic paint. There is a Facebook page.... you can paint anything with it, but use sugar soap prior to painting
Rustoleum makes a spray paint specifically for plastic that bonds to plastic. Works great & comes in all colors. Get it @ Walmart or any place that sells paint. Good luck
I would definitely inquire at a local paint store, but in general, you'll need a good primer made for plastic. I always use spray paint for plastics, but that might not be the best option, I would definitely ask the pros since it's a bathroom.
Rustoleum and Krylon make paint for plastic. BUT I would go to Habitat for Humanity or a builders surplus store and buy some new doors. In fact that is exactly what I did. I was able to paint the vanity and put on new wooden doors. Just take measurements. I got 4 doors for $15.
Chalk paint work on any surfaces .. I would for sure use that or spray paint but first you need to use spray paint primer
Agree with Dee. Go to some local second hand shops and see what they have but due to the virus (in my state) they aren't considered essential and are not open now.
Remove the doors and clean well then use spray paint made for plastic
Lightly sand the doors with fine sand paper make shure to go one direction then wipe off Then paint.
Rustoleum 2X spray paint or Krylon Fusion spray paint
Go to local paint store. Get a bonding primer. Then top coat with semi gloss enamel , it will wipe clean better than a flat paint will.
Thanks for all the great suggestions!
