Check RustOleum paint line. They have a beautiful copper paint and even have a hammered line of paints if you want that look. Then you can add the patina effect with black and green-ish paints.

Rub and Buff has a copper patina finish. I use it all the time, it is beautiful.

Try Copper Spray paint and then dub over it a brown to dull it down and a green for aged look............Have fun, Practice makes perfect!
