Can I paint my vinyl mesh window blinds??
My blinds were not cheap but the sun has yellowed them in my sunroom. They look dirty even after washing.

Hi Kathy I would use a white wash meaning: white paint watered down - it would act as more of a dye as opposed to just hardcore paint which I fear would crack and break over time. Good luck!
Hello. I think this is a common - uncontrollable thing with white plastic and sunlight UV reaction. We have plastic circles surrounding the jets in our whirlpool tub and they have yellow too. I understand your frustration.
I would try an outdoor paint that is more likely to withstand the UV light
Hi Kathy, you can definitely paint them. You would need to remove them and lay them flat (to avoid drips) and then use paint. You could even use spray paint to go quicker if you can lay them flat on a tarp in the grass.

Yes, I'd recommend using spray paint. A couple of light coats will work great with less chance of having drips.
Thanks so much
Hello Kathy,
Contact the Customer Service dept. of the company you purchased the blinds from and ask them what you should or should not do or better still tell them your problem and ask for their help to solve it. Best wishes
I would definitely do that use a fabric paint if there fabric if not just use reg house paint hang them up so you could see them all rolled out and use a roller do front and back

I think spray paint would be the easiest method. They may block much more sun afterward, depending if they are a type that still let in some light!
