Also, sharing what you may have found hard about completing this project, and any tips that made the going easier, would be helpful to other Hometalkers who may be attempting it for the first time.
To help protect your new cushion covers from staining and to make them more water-resistant, I would recommend you give them a good spraying with Scothguard spray.
It is a high quality brand name product.
