I always go straight to bleach for my shower. It works every time. Scouring power is another option to remove the build up of soap.
My fiberglass shower and tub are 30 yrs old and the best thing I have found to clean the soap scum off is Mr Clean Magic Erasers. No chemicals just wet the sponge and scrub then rinse off. It works on glass shower doors as well
This cleans everything in your bathroom EXCEPT cultured marble countertops, granite countertops. Been using this for years.
Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.
I really like CLR. You can dab it directly onto a cloth or dilute with water and that usually takes just about anything off.
I've tried it three times in my master bath shower and I was stunned at the excellent results. Easy-Off Fume Free oven cleaner in the BLUE can. It's safe for self cleaning ovens and it was lemon scent. I sprayed it on as soon as I woke up, let it sit for just over an hour and came back to take my shower and finish up the job. People, people, people......the grime melted off, literally. It hasn't hurt the finish on the fiberglass so far and I'm really watching for this.
I can second the magic erasers for cleaning fiberglass showers etc. If all else fails there is always The Works Toilet Bowl cleaner that will literally remove anything.
Mogie has got it. Easy Off No Fume oven cleaner in the BLUE can. Works on enamel, porcelain, and fiberglass. Some fiberglass tubs have a textured bottom and hard to clean. Easy Off oven cleaner works
