Curtain rod supports
I put up curtain rods & after hanging the curtains (bamboo) see that they’re too heavy for rods - which are sagging in the middle. Rods go up to 47” long which is extended to about 45”. Can’t find support brackets the same extended length of 1” close to window. They all are 2-4 “ extended length. Any ideas how I can secure rods in the middle . Anything that can support the rod?

You can buy a bracket that goes in the middle and screws into the wall. It will help a lot!
If you need only 1 inch, I am thinking a nail to lean the rod on, or a small block of wood under the middle of the rod, or look for a command hook to see if that would work. May not be 1 inch though. I have seen large hooks like cup hooks that may have a long enough shank on them to work for what you want. Sharon posted some rod holders that look like they might work. Good luck.
The simplest solution is to use a pre-fabricated bracket. Curtain rod brackets are A-shaped, with the narrow end curved to allow the rod to sit on top of it. Simply screw the bracket to the wall (to a stud, if possible) and put the rod on the bracket's dimple.
You can secure the rod from above by using a line of some sort--steel wire or cloth, depending on your decor. Install a bracket or hook above the center of the rod, on the wall or on the ceiling, and connect it to the rod. Tension the line enough so that the line supports much of the weight of the curtains. One simple and stealthy design: Use a small eye screw in the ceiling and use fish line to tie the rod to the screw for a decent solution that is hard to see.
Indeed, just pick up a spare bracket from the home improvement store and attach it to the wall in the middle.
Take the rod with you to a hardware store. They can assist you in getting the correct shape and size bracket. If you can take the end bracket, that would even be better but they are probably affixed and would be too much trouble.
