How do I change a sconce into a screw-in light socket??
I need to replace my bathroom wall sconces. I want a simple globe; the only globe sconces I've found are all over $100.00 each, & I need 2. Can I just install a screw-in light socket, and buy a globe-shaped bulb?

Not sure I am following you my scones both have screw in light bulbs. A picture would be helpful so we could see exactly what you are referring to.
Couldn't you just replace the globes and use what you have?
Thanks!
You might go with Edison bulbs. I think they are pretty on their own.
If you add a photo we might be able to help more Teri. What kind of socket do you have in the sconze?
