most everything I find using peroxide is for galvanized buckets - I couldn't find anything on how to make a bucket galvanized I would suggest some kind of paint

Galvanizing is a coating of Zinc over metal to protect it from the elements. Hydrogen peroxide or vinegar are use to prepare the galvanized surface for paint. Not make galvanizing. Rustoleum does sell cold galvanizing spray paint.spray paint
You might be hard pressed to turn a bucket into galvanized but you could do a faux paint finish to emulate it. That might be your best bet.
