Try Barkeeper’s Friend. It works very well on stainless steel. Sprinkle the powder on a wet scrubbing pad, let it sit for a bit and then scrub off. The cleanser also works well on porcelain sinks and tile countertops.
Hi Elise, you can try rubbing baking soda into the burn marks with a dry cloth. It works really well on burnt stainless steel pots and pans. You will need to rub quite hard until you see the marks disappearing. You can also purchase a product called Barkeeper's Friend and use that instead of the baking soda. Best of luck

Hello Try using Barkeepers Friend and a little water and a lot of Elbow Grease! Good luck.

Be careful of any abrasives. They can damage to finish. Have you tried using a nylon scrubber along with the vinegar? I've also heard that vinegar and mineral oil work.

Thank you all. I will try them all.
I use Bar Keepers Friend on tough stains.
Although it is a MLM company, of which I'm not a fan, I highly recommend Norwex Oven & Grill cleaner. I tried everything, including steel wool pads, to clean my gas stove eyes. They would not come clean. I slightly warmed them, spray a bit of it on there, and wiped away in a few minutes. It is amazing.
Sorry you have burn marks on your oven. Hope this helps you. Dip a soft cloth in vinegar and rub over the surface of the stainless steel. The heat streaks should start to rub off of the metal and transfer onto the cloth. Continue to rub the surface of the steel vigorously until no more streaks come off of the surface.
