Hello. Have you searched for some visual clues to help settle your situation?
Sometimes Pinterest and Houzz can have some great organizational ideas to try to institute in your situation

Hello,
Start making piles - In Boxes or Bags if you have them to hand. Clean - Dirty - Needing Repair - Too Bad & Must Go - Recycle - Donate. That's the loose stuff sorted.
Sort the Clean and Iron and Put away -Wash the Dirty - Repair the Stuff or put it into other piles - Throw stuff that's too bad - and Must Go - Recycle bin - Put a side or if you can Recycle immediately Donate today-
Now Sort the room. Add Racks or Shelves with Baskets (Labelled) or Fit Cabinets.
No store the stuff in organized bins and do what it says on the Labels! Hope that helps...
Hello, Follow instructions given to Moggy as Before given.
I went from shelves to cabinets, which was a game changer.
As for dirty laundry, I purchase tall kitchen garbage cans and placed inside each person's closet. The size is about equal to a load of laundry. When one is around 80% filled, I take it to the laundry room then when it's dry I return it in the same "hamper". I also have one for towels. Everything that goes in one of them can be washed together so no sorting.
Hi Jacki
I would start by removing everything but the washer and dryer and cleaning it from top to bottom then add back the items you need. Add shelves on the wall, or cabinets over the washer and dryer for storage. Throw out anything you don't need and be sure you have a rack or place to hang clothes you take out of the dryer damp.
Hello Jacki,
Cupboard or shelves will help!
