Yellow would be fun. Any outbuildings I would paint the same as the main structure. However the door or trim could be mixed up a bit or keep it the same for a cohesive appearance. Lavender and purple shades would be fun too.
Hi Lois, I really like the idea of the deep or forest green for the doors, they will compliment your house beautifully
Bring home some larger sizes paper swatches or small containers of sample paint in colors you like and look at them at various times of day and light. That should narrow your choices for you.
Sounds like that dark green would be a great color
Lois. I am with Deb, I love Forrest Green for all the doors with possibly a white trim. If you like a Maroon color, that also looks fabulous with Forrest green.
Dark green will be great if you want it to match. Gold or yellow for some contrast.
Hi Lois,
Go for something strong like Burnt Orange or Turquoise, Red or even Autumn Gold.
Enjoy!
Dark green is the most obvious answer for a match, I am thinking a copper, not too bright of a copper.
I would paint the front door a bright color such as yellow-gold, orange, or teal. The garage door would look nice and not stand out too much if you went with only a lsightly darker or lighter tone of the house color. I'd paint the detached garage the same colors as your home to tie the property all together.
I think a dark green or a maroon color would work best for the door. Good luck!
I would either go with matching the dark green or choose a bright pop of color. Whichever you go with, painting all doors to match. Then mimic the house color scheme on the storage building.
Thank you ladies for your help. You gave me some options to consider.
You could do white or black!
