Bottom freezer door GE GFSS2HCYSS left rail stops halfway out
I pull the drawer out but it stops half way out. The right rail seems free but the left hangs up half way out. How do i get the drawer to come out or how do i release the left rail. There is nothing under the drawer stopping it. Any ideas or tricks will be appreciated.

I believe this is the manual for the fridge. It has instructions and tips on how to remove the fridge doors, perhaps it has the same for the freezer. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/286828/Ge-Gfss2hcyss.html?page=27
I had an issue on a different model. The wheel wasn't properly turning. I had to empty out the freezer and then I was able to free it up. It was almost as if it had frozen. I never saw a reason it wasn't turning.
If you can't find this in the owner's manual or can't find the manual, give GE a call with the make and model numbers. They have a customer service line and should be able to help you.

Depending on the make, there should be a little release lever under the drawer. Then pull the drawer, trigger the lever then lift the front of the drawer up...
Thanks i will look into that option not sure if there is a release but i will find out.
Hello. Have you tried calling your manufacturer customer support? They probably have access to schematics to help you out .
There might be a finger tab or similar that might be stuck. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer, they’ll tell you right away.
You may have to get your appliance repair shop to fix it.Otherwise you can damage it more.
Thanks to all who answered my issue, i did resolve it for the most part. The left rail somehow jumped over the plastic insert at the front of the door rail where it meets the door. I pried if it with a screw driver and it worked. The other issue now is the rails seem to tip up in the back where i assume there should be some screws to secure them. I will have to venture into this if i can get a schematic to show what I'm looking at. thanks again.
